I Lost Control of My Rock & Roll 7inch
Proof that, indeed, there is intelligent life out there. "I Lost Control" (both the song and the record) is a vision of rock and roll's potential bright and twisted future, barely restrained by order. It's punk rock verging on chaos, filtered through personal mania played on guitar, synth and drums. To phrase it as succinctly (and as abstractly) as possible, if the Buzzcocks' reflection in a funhouse mirror ate its own young then strapped on guitars, it'd sound a lot like the hot numbers (the title cut, "I Know Karate," "Tiny Little Men" and "Gay Bar") here.
