A Return of Newer, Fresher FAQs

They're back!!!! Website version 14.0 had a bunch of Frequently Asked Questions concerning E6. We've dismantled that website and moved on to version 15.0....the site you are currently visiting. More questions have been asked of the band since the inception of version 15.0 over a year ago. As you can see from the pictures and constant slew of tour dates, the band is usually on the road. When they are not on the road, they are busy coming up with clever and original phony names and email addresses that they use to send emails to Warner Bros. in hopes of possibly one day getting a reply. So, unfortunately, there is very little time left over for the band to answer emails. We hired a kid named Martin Landau to handle that shit....he dropped the ball and now let's just say he's getting pretty good at steaming and frothing milk these days. So without further ado.....the newer, fresher FAQs!!!!!!

Q. Is E6 going to be at Glastonbury this year?

A. Yes, but the band is not playing a live set. This year, in conjunction with MOTOR CITY RICKSHAWS(TM), they are operating a rickshaw service to transport Jack and Meg between the catering tent and their trailer.

Q. What is the next UK single off of Senor Smoke going to be?

A. No.

Q. When will Senor Smoke be released in the USA?

A. Soon. Sometime in 2005. Say, that reminds me. Try this. Get a calculator. Okay. Now type in the number 2005. Finished? Okay, now flip the cacluator over. What does it say? It says "soon"! Isn't that neat? Yes, "soon" the record will be released in the USA! That's the easiest way to remember it!

Q. Where is Monty's Grill and what is a Utah Burger?

A. Monty's Grill is a very small greasy spoon attached to one of those decrepit motor lodges on Woodward in Royal Oak, between 11 Mile and 12 Mile. The Utah Burger is not on their menu as far as we know....it is a FICTIONAL BURGER.

Q. I wrote a song called Sonic Sex Invaders. Do you want me to send you the lyrics?

A. That's okay. Hold onto them and give them to us when we see you in the PARTYZONE(TM) on May 3.

Q. When are you coming to Australia again?

A. It's looking like later this year....possibly October. Percussion World can't stress enough how much he'd like to make Australia his jam.

Q. One more time....when are you coming to Florida?

A. No.

St. Patrick's Day Was Here

NEW YORK, March 18th -- The following can be attributed to Dick Valentine:

Yesterday, a lone gunman on the run went into the Sherman Oaks Galleria. The only description of the gunman was that he was "wearing a green shirt".

Anybody see Bush wearing that green tie yesterday? He looked like a jerk!

Yesterday was the 7th anniversary of our longtime associate, Dr. Blacklips Hoffman, announcing cryptically just before passing out at a dive bar in Clawson, "The future.....is in the future....."

Yesterday, I learned that Emery King had been let go by WDIV. This has nothing to do with St. Patrick's Day. This was just a BAD MOVE.

Yesterday, we learned that we are touring the United States in a couple of weeks with VHS or Beta and we are tickled pink about getting back in the van.

Yesterday, when asked to choose between red or green salsa for my fish taco, I chose green.

Update from the Motorway

BOURNEMOUTH, England, March 2 -- The following can be attributed to Dick Valentine:

We are on tour. We drink champagne and whiskey, we eat hommous and pate and we talk to people. I have just seen pictures from the first leg of this tour on this site and they do not tell the whole story. It has been a bit more complex in nature. There has been illness, there has been violence, and there has been internet. We have seen odd-numbered pairings of people together. We have seen the Comfort Inn on George St. in Nottingham. We have seen irrational behavior. We have seen people put aside prejudices and differences and come together to work towards a common good. We have seen Brendan Benson.

We have seen what it is to be entertainers.

We have been to Shires, we have been to Hamptons, we have been to Burghs and we are currently in a Mouth.

We have not seen blue sky for over 2 weeks.

We call on you, the vaguely interested in our affairs, to send us the lyrics to White Wedding by Billy Idol as we may need them for Prague.

LONDON, Feb 9, 2026 -- The new Electric Six album, Senor Smoke, is set for release in the United Kingdom this coming Monday, Feb 14. Other territories will follow suit (stay tuned right here at HQ for details), but for now, it's our tea-drinking and bangers-eating friends in the UK who get first crack at the record. The tracklisting is as follows:

1. Rock And Roll Evacuation
2. Devil Nights
3. Bite Me
4. Jimmy Carter
5. Pleasing Interlude No. 1
6. Dance Epidemic
7. Future Boys
8. Dance-A-Thon 2005
9. Be My Dark Angel
10. Vibrator
11. Boy or Girl?
12. Pleasing Interlude No.2
13. Radio Ga Ga
14. Taxi To Nowhere
15. Future Is In The Future

You can pre-order the album now by clicking on the "shop" link at the top of this page.

The band will be hitting the shores of this blessed isle for about the 94th time in the last 3 years for a full tour in support of the album, starting next week. Look to your left for details as to dates, locations, and venues. We hope to see you out there.

As an added bonus, anyone bringing an autographed Aurelio Lopez photo or baseball card to one of these upcoming UK gigs will be treated to an on-the-spot acoustic and vocal performance of Jose Feliciano's controversial version of the Star Spangled Banner by none other than E6's own John R. Dequindre. Good luck!
