E6 is Totally Not Playing French Fest on March 11th

February 27, 2003--Word has reached the Electric Six camp that the band has been advertised as appearing at a French music festival on March 11th.

The festival -- which apparently also features Badly Drawn Boy and the Soft Boys -- sounds like alot of fun but Electric Six is NOT going to be there, and they never were. The band will actually be starting its US tour just then (see below).

In fact, on March 11th the band is booked at the Green Door in Oklahoma City, OK, with Hot Hot Heat.

No one is 100% sure how this French festival rumor got started, but it is absolute bullshit.
